Miller Brewery Sign, famous landmark sign that hung on the Miller Brewery in Milwaukee from the 60-70’s until approximately 2001. “Welcome to Miller Valley”,this sign forever identified the area in Milwaukee now known as “Miller Valley”. Surely one of the most important and unique pieces of breweriana in the world and a one-of-a-kind treasure for any advertising collector. Features the Miller “Soft Cross” logo designed by futurist designer Brooks Stevens. Subject of thousands of tourist photos for decades, this hand painted aluminum sign and clock face are massive, measuring approximately 49.5 feet long by 12 feet high. The clock’s large hand measures 4.5 feet long. Complete clock mechanicals included. It is believed that these clock faces are the amongst the largest to every hang in Milwaukee, second only to that of the Allen-Bradley company who has the world's largest four-faced clock at their Milwaukee headquarters. Composed of 10 thick aluminum sheets measuring 5’ x 12”, the sign can be displayed in its entirety, or with just the Miller logo or clock. Originally a two sided sign, this is the only side remaining in its entirety, as the other side was scrapped for its aluminum!. Excellent condition with expected patina. History!
